Here’s how to use an eyeshadow palette in 8 different ways:
You don't have to invest in fancy eyebrow products to achieve textbook brows. Using a powder shadow on your brows looks much more natural and is super easy to apply. Fill in your arches using a stiff, angled brush and a matte shadow the colour of your brows (Use Shade Number 6). Blend out with an eye shadow brush to soften the appearance of your arches.
Don’t worry if you didn’t wake up bright-eyed. Now there’s an easy, hassle-free, inexpensive way to look bushy-tailed. Just dab a tiny bit of Shade Number 1 from the palette to instantly brighten up the entire eye area. This easy beauty tip will open up your eyes and make them bigger and brighter asap.
- FOR CONTOURING THE EYE SOCKET
Add more definition to your eyes by using the contouring technique. We’ve used the natural taupe Shade Number 8 in the socket of the eye for a natural shadow. Word of advice, keep your eyes open while applying the shadow to add more depth to your eyes.
- TO CONTOUR YOUR CHEEKBONES
This is a very easy way to enhance the shadow under your cheekbones and give your face sharper angles. Try a shadow that's a couple shades darker than your skin tone. We have mixed together Shade Numbers 10 and 7 to achieve the look. Use a contour brush to sweep it up to the temples and into the cheek line.
Sweep a little shadow along your lash line with an angled brush to define your eyes. You can even dampen the brush a little to make the colour look more intense. We have used the Shade Number 12 for this look. The best part about this technique is that you have the liberty to try various looks each day. You can choose from a light brown (for just a hint of colour on lids or a darker shade for a dollop of drama.
You pulled an all-nighter and now are wondering what to do to camouflage the redness? Shade Number 3 from the palette to the rescue! Dab a blob of colour on your waterline. Then soften the line and even it out with a soft applicator brush.
Forgot your contouring kit at home? No worries. Just use Shade Number 11 from the palette and watch the magic unfold. The pearly nude shade will accentuate the high points of your face and give an amazingly flawless finish. You can even use the same shadow on your collarbones for a sexy sheen. Blend the colour perfectly using a soft brush. You’re good to go.
Bored of all the nude lipsticks in your makeup kitty? This eye shadow palette works equally well on your pout. Dab a little concealer on your lips to create a fine canvas for the colour to go on. Then gently rub Shade Number 7 onto your lips using a small blending brush. Finally, blend it in using your finger.
